Gor Mahia have tabled an offer for Vihiga United defender Bernard Ochieng’.
Ochieng’ was the key central defender for the National Super League side in 2016 and K’Ogalo have moved to start negotiations in a bid to secure his signature. According to Vihiga United’s head of communication and Public relations Peter Atsiaya, the club has no issue in releasing the player but explains that the player himself has shown some level of hesitance in regards to playing time.
“Gor Mahia are very keen on signing our defender Bernard Ochieng’. They have even tabled their offer but the deal might not easily go through because there are a number of things which have to be considered as well. Playing time is also very important for the players’ career,” he told Goal.
Gor Mahia are in tussle over another defender in Mohammed Makbul whose ownership has been claimed by two clubs; Jericho All Stars and Gunners Youth FC from Mombasa.
