The "Artists Square," a gallery in Douala located in chic Bonapriso since Friday was the attention of photography enthusiasts.

The day started with an opening exhibition of "Citizen Watch", an activity initiated by the collective "3M", a group of three journalists who have common first names beginning with the letter M.

Monique Ngo Mayag from Mutations, Mathias Mouendé Ngamo of Le Jour and Rita Diba Madeleine of Cameroon Tribune presented to the public on a number of 27 tables. 27 photos in black and white art depicting scenes of life, scenes of news captured by the objective young reporters of the very detailed cultural fiber. The images have more than spoken as they are moving.

Mathias Mouendé Ngamo shows traders on the rubble of Congo market, ravaged by a serious fire almost three years. The delegate of culture for the Littoral and colleagues were literally entranced before the work of Mathias, Monique and Rita Madeleine.

Josiane Kouagheu, a colleague of Mathias Mouendé Ngamo was overwhelmed by the exhibition. "I appreciate the initiative. This is the first time that three cultural journalists exhibit their work. This photo of Monique Ngo Mayag of Fish scalers are actually of the forgotten of society whose work others refuse to do. "

The initiators of "Citizen Watch" wanted this action to show that the journalist can reach out to society in addition to his writings. "This is mainly to show that the reporter does not have to only write articles but can get a message across through images."

For his colleague Mathias, it is "a questioning of the profession and society." He explains that beyond the aesthetic side, each photograph has a message to convey.

The project has received the support of "Senior" and Aretha Louise Marion Obam Mbango. They helped their young colleagues to refine the organization of their event. It ended April 4, 2015.
