Cameroon to open embassy in Turkey

Cameroon will soon open an embassy in Turkey. The news was made public by the Turkish ambassador to Cameroon Omer Faruk Dogan.

Omer Faruk Dogan was speaking after the over 45 minutes audience granted him by President Paul Biya.

The State House talks between the President and the Ambassador also focused on ways of reinforcing bilateral cooperation between Cameroon and Turkey.

After the audience, the Turkish diplomat downplayed the recent political upheavals in his country. He stated that the situation is merely part of the pre-election fever.
