The officials appointed by the Speaker of the National Assembly, Hon. Cavaye Yeguie Djibril into his cabinet on December 23, 2013 who range from sub directors to chiefs of bureaus in a descending order of importance, are now at work as they were commissioned into their new functions, yesterday, January 28, 2014.

The Technical Adviser to the House Speaker who also doubles as the Director of Protocol, Ceremonies, Official Missions and Transport, Ahmadou Ndottiwa chaired the ceremony on behalf of the Director of Cabinet, Adjiali Boukar. The Technical Adviser enjoined the appointed officials and other staff of the cabinet to merit the trust bestowed on them by being punctual, assiduous, scrupulously respect hierarchy, reserved and discreet. The code of conduct will enable them to efficiently support the bureau of the National Assembly, MPs and other senior officials of the House in their different tasks of helping the House Speaker succeed in the mission assigned him by the President of the Republic, Paul Biya.

They will also work hard to enable the National Assembly to successfully host the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association, CPA 60th Conference that will take place in Cameroon in October 2014. The conference will bring together over 1000 delegates. The ceremony ended with relatives of the appointed officials handing to them bouquets of flowers and other messages of congratulations.
